Louis Vuitton’s Men’s FW19 Party

The Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall Winter 2019 Party in Singapore saw the worldwide exclusive launch of the brand’s Monogram Brown Logos Chalk Nano Bag—only available in Singapore and Thailand. It was inspired by the rock climbers’ (you guessed it) chalk bags, and is part of the brand’s pre-collection by artistic director Virgil Abloh. The pre-collection also happens to be the first of its kind for the French luxury house.

The pre-collection was inspired by Japanese iconography and Martin Luther King Jr’s “I have a dream” speech, both of which were prominently featured. The event took place on the second-level of Louis Vuitton at Ion Orchard and aptly reflected the nuanced inspiration in both decor and activities. The party also revealed Abloh’s inaugural staples collection for Louis Vuitton which cleverly featured staples in the collection; where he also paid homage to his first luxury purchase, a cardholder, by having a sewn-on version on one of the shirts. Which is both practical, and uber chic.

Attendees included the who’s who in Singapore from The Sam Willow’s Jon Chua to Fox Sports Asia’s TV Presenter Edward Russell and Iman Fandi. Click through the gallery below to see all the images from the night.
